Eagle Raceway (September 4)
An exciting final night for 2011 at Eagle Raceway. The Nebraska Cup always brings is a wide range of drivers; including many from the ASCS National Tour. With a good draw, Doug was able to move through the heat race into the A Feature. Doug started 12th for the A and drove hard, never looking back! He carefully picked his line and made his move at the right time and after the checkers flew on lap 30, Doug had drove the “Fastest Cow on Dirt” to a 7th place finish.

Eagle Raceway (August 20)
Doug started deep in the qualifier race and made progress forward in this short 8 lap race. For the A feature Doug lined up in 18th. It was a long way to the front, but the entire team knew Doug and the car was ready to moo-ve. Doug was able to take advantage of timely cautions moving through the field. As the checkers flew Doug crossed the line in 6th. Join us next week for the season finale at Eagle Raceway.

The evenings races started excellent. Doug lead all the laps in the heat race and was to start on the pole for the A feature. Then came the rain. With the track gone, the rest of the evenings races were cancelled. However, we will run this A Feature on August 20th, before the regular nights events. Come and cheer on Doug as he races that evening.
Eagle Raceway (July 30)
A great finish for Doug in the A Feature. Doug was running around the middle of the field throughout most of the race, until a caution occurred with about 6 laps remaining. On the restart, Doug moved quickly forward picking off other competitors one by one. Doug made one final charge coming out of turn 4, being shown the checkered flag, and secured a fourth place finish.
Eagle Raceway (July 23)
The evening started off with a unique twist in the heat race. About two-thirds of the way through the heat, Doug had to make an abrupt stop when a power steering line broke and sprayed fluid all over the cockpit. Doug was fine, but the car was finished for the heat race. Doug still made the A Feature and started in the back of the field. Confident to move forward, Doug took advantage of every opportunity to advance in the feature. Doug drove hard, bringing the car to tenth place as the checkers flew. After the races, Doug enjoyed greeting many younger fans in attendance.
